With respect to truancy laws, school officials typically have the discretion to decide whether or not to refer an act of truancy to juvenile court. Causes for truancy


The truancy is often presented by the desire not to attend class, either for a task that did not present or simply because the student did not want to go, to take a "break" from school, or other cases to go out with friends with those who plan to miss school, the truancy, actually has no justification for any of these causes, and in some countries it is penalized both students for committing this act.
